Sarah Ellis Natural History illustration

Sarah studied scientific illustration at the Blackpool College of Art, where she discovered an interest in anatomy, particularly in what she calls 'the engine' and structure of biological forms. Years later, having raised a family, she painted a wedding gift of a working dog with a brace of pheasants. Further game-related commissions resulted and shaped her current interest in wild food.
