Website volunteer wanted for Somerset RoutesAre you interested in history and heritage and looking for opportunities to support museums’ work?

Are you interested in developing your knowledge and experience of using websites and social media?

Are you looking for volunteer opportunities but have limited time to give due to work, school or family commitments?

If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions then why not consider becoming a Website Volunteer for the Somerset Routes website.

Somerset Routes is an online directory of 120 heritage sites in Somerset and North Somerset. It promotes events and exhibitions as well as sharing good news stories about heritage and museums. It is run in partnership between Somerset Heritage Service, part of Somerset County Council and the Museums in Somerset group.

This role involves working from home to maintain and update the Somerset Routes heritage tourism website. You will be involved with promoting events and activities at heritage sites across Somerset via social media.
